As the first PDI partner to onboard with Braze via Weigel’s, I had the opportunity to shape a new standard for C-store email marketing. Leveraging Braze’s powerful segmentation, behavioral triggers, and real-time data tools, I was able to architect campaigns that delivered both scale and precision; from broad monthly promotions to granular tobacco offers targeted by location, SKU, and user history.
Our performance didn’t just meet expectations — it rewrote them. With open rates over 23%, click rates exceeding 0.8%, and conversions nearing 92% on some segmented campaigns, we proved that relevance drives results. Campaigns like our Swedish Match/ZYN activations showed how strategic messaging combined with Braze’s personalization can drive thousands of in-store conversions and co-funding from key CPG partners.
At scale, our May performance tells the same story: over 5 million sends, 95%+ delivery rate, and nearly half a million in revenue from email engagement alone.
